(i.e. the person with the knife is going to try and use it, so you can focus on it, while you have hands, elbows, knees, feet, and head, and they don't know which you are going to use). If a would-be thief/idiot holds the knife out like "here it is", they have no clue how to use it. If they tuck it in holding the blade toward their elbow rather than at you, they may know a bit more about knife-tactics. There are actually 4 ways to hold a knife: Fencer's grip, Hammer Grip, Ice-pick Grip, and Reverse Grip... all have adv and disadv., but he who focuses on the knife eliminates all their other weapons...Just a little FYI for the boys *shrug*
